Freetime

For Norwegian households

Know the day
you're free.

Freetime brings every account in the household together, from every bank and every person, into one budget. It sorts every krone and works out the date your income covers your life: the debt paid, a buffer in place. Then every day it tells you what you can spend to get there.

No financial advice. Just your own data, organised for you.

Why it works

With knowledge and insight, you make better choices

See

Everything in one place

Every account, loan, bill, rent and receipt, sorted by itself. What you have, what you owe, and where the money really goes.

Understand

What each choice does

A purchase, a higher installment, a project on the side: each shown as days closer to or further from the day you're free.

Decide

You choose, knowing

Freetime never tells you what to do. It shows where your own numbers lead, so the choice is yours and an informed one.

What you get

What a clear picture can do for you

All accounts → 1 budget

The whole household in one budget

Your accounts and your partner's, at every bank, read into one budget. Moves between your own accounts are recognised, so nothing counts twice, and everyone has their own login.

≈ 800,000 kr

Be free sooner, and save hundreds of thousands in interest

On a 30-year mortgage of 3 million kr at 5.5 %, 2,000 kr more a month pays it off 6½ years sooner and saves about 800,000 kr in interest, before tax. Freetime shows how much more your own months can carry.

Free time or capital

Reach your own goal

Work less, stop sooner, or build wealth: your date shows how far you are from the goal you set, and how fast you're closing in.

11 days

Know the price of a choice before you make it

A new sofa, a car, selling a flat: each priced in days, before you decide.

+ rent

Rentals that pay their way

What each house earns after tax, when the rent may follow the price index, and projects that let an empty house or add to its value.

0 leaks

No money slips away unseen

Every subscription and regular charge found from the bank, with the year's total, and the ones that stopped.

The figures are examples. Yours are worked out from your own bank and plan.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself

  1. 1

    Connect your banks

Every account in the household, at every bank, each person with their own BankID. Read-only, and every payment comes in by itself: no typing, no spreadsheet.

  2. 2

    It sorts itself

Salary, loans, rent, bills and moves between your accounts are recognised. The rest waits in one inbox, and each shop you place is remembered.

  3. 3

    See your date, every day

The day you're free, what's left to spend today, and what each choice does to the date.

A day with it

A minute a day, and you always know where you stand

Morning

How much today?

303 kr a day to payday: the bills still to come are already taken off, so the number is real.

At the till

Snap the receipt

The camera is one tap away. Every line is read and filed by category, for you to glance over.

Evening

Should I buy it?

A new sofa costs your date 11 days. See it before you buy, not after.

Monday

This week's shopping list

What you usually buy that's on offer near you, sorted by what you save against what you normally pay.

When it matters

A nudge on your phone

A budget went over, your date moved, the rent may go up, a price you watch dropped. Only when there's something to know.

Numbers you can trust

No AI guesses your money

Every figure is plain arithmetic, the same every time. An assistant only finds facts: what a shop is, the best price for a product, this week's offers. It sees a shop's name, never your amounts, and it never changes anything without you.

Questions

Before you start

Which banks does it work with?

Most Norwegian banks, through Enable Banking and BankID, and as many as the household uses. You approve each connection in your own bank, and can end it at any time.

Can anyone move money from my account?

No. The connection only reads balances and payments; nothing can be paid from the app.

Do I need to own a home or have loans?

No. Renting, debt-free, retired or freelance: the date is worked out from your own situation.

Can we use it together?

Yes. Each person logs in with their own email and connects their own banks, into the same budget. The log shows who added what.

Where is my data kept?

On servers in France, in the EU, encrypted with your household's own key, and backed up every night. You can download all of it, or delete it, whenever you like: deleted, it can't be read again.

What does it cost?

Receipts, offers and the shopping list are free. Connecting the bank, with the budget, the plan and your date, is 99 kr a month with 2 accounts and 20 kr for each one more, never more than 199 kr: one subscription for the whole household, however many are in it.

How do I get in?

By invitation for now. Leave your email below, and we'll send you a link when there's room for your household.

Is this financial advice?

No. It's a calculator for your own plan: it shows where your numbers lead, and you decide what to do.

We're opening Freetime to more households. Leave your email, and we'll write when there's room for yours.

Only to write once, when there's room for you. Deleted after that, and within a year. Never passed on; leave any time. Privacy
